Federal Bank Launches Its Post-Flood Cleaning Mission in Aluva

In continuation to the various efforts that Federal Bank has been making towards alleviating the hardships of the flood affected people of Kerala, the Bank is charting out plans for developmental activities in and around Aluva.
As a first step towards the rebuilding of Aluva, the Bank in association with the organization Plan@Earth has taken charge of the post flood cleaning activities in Choornikkara Panchayat. The formal launch of the cleaning mission of the Bank was held at Choornikkara Panchayat Office today. The meeting was attended by AP Udayakumar (Choornikkara Panchayat President), Shaji AV (Panchayat Secretary), Beena Ali (Vice President), CP Naushad (Block Panchayat Member), Babu Puthanangadi (Ward Member), Raju Hormis (Federal Bank CSR Department Head), Joy Thomas (Federal Bank Deputy Vice President and Aluva Regional Head), Jagadeesan TS (Federal Bank Retired Chief General Manager) and others. The Bank’s gesture comes at a time when the flood hit areas start accumulation of wastes including non- degradable materials which pose threat of outbreak of contagious diseases.
