KOCHI:
In sequel to various groundbreaking initiatives Federal Bank has been initiating towards customer convenience and security, the Bank has introduced On/Off feature for Federal Bank ATM Cards. The customers can temporarily disable their ATM cash withdrawals, online payments and international transactions just by sending an SMS in the specified format from their mobile number registered with the Bank. They can re- enable the card themselves by sending another SMS. This facility is also made available in FedNet, which is Federal Bank’s internet banking portal. By using this innovative feature, the customers can insulate their ATM cards from all sorts of fraudulent ATM transactions.
