Kochi: In light of recent unfortunate safety incidents, the Event Management Association Kerala (EMAK) has launched a pioneering initiative EventSafe, reaffirming its commitment to uphold safety as the cornerstone of all events. EventSafe is a collective pledge by EMAK to ensure the highest safety standards are integrated into every stage of event planning and execution.
“Recognizing the trust placed in them by the public, clients, and participants, EMAK aims to create secure environments where safety is non-negotiable,” said Raju Kannampuzha, President of EMAK.” It is our shared responsibility to make every event a safe and enjoyable experience for all,” he added.
Through this, Through EventSafe, EMAK ensures safety is central to every event, conducts rigorous risk assessments to prevent hazards, continuously trains teams on the latest safety practices, collaborates with authorities to enhance compliance, and maintains transparency with clients and stakeholders. EMAK also plans to submit a proposal on safety guidelines to concerned authorities.
EMAK, established on July 1, 2009, serves as the sole representative body of event management
agencies in Kerala and is affiliated with the national association Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA).
