Prof K V Thomas, MP and Chairman, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) released noted industrialist Sunny Maliekal’s book ‘ Ente Pusthakam’, the English translation of his own book, originally written in Malayalam. K V Thomas handed over the first copy to writer K L Mohanavarma in a programme conducted at Ernakulam Press Club. Ernakulam Press Club President D Dileep presided over the function.
Christopher John, CEO, NewsExperts and Dailyreports, online news portal, honoured Sunny Maliekal by draping a ponnoda. The excellence award of NewsExperts and Dailyreports was presented by K V Thomas.
Rev. Jacob Mannaraprayil Corepiscopa, K L Mohana Varma, Dr M S Sunil, Cine artist Suby Suresh and Jose Alunkal spoke. Sunny has spent 32 years of his life as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) in the United States of America and the book delves deep into those eventful years of his life. The book is also a must read for those who dreams of an American life.
What makes his book unique is the simple writing that can instantly connect with the audience. The book , originally written in Malayalam was released in 2016. He was born to Thottaikkattukara Maliekel Paulo and Leelamma.
