Drishti 2020 Inaugurated

KOCHI:
The 47 th Annual Conference of the Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons (KSOS), Drishti 2020 begins at Chocolas Pavilion in Kochi. Indian Medical Association Immediate Past President Dr. Abraham Varghese inaugurated the conference. Scientific conferences and online education discussions are organized in the context of Covid-19.

The meeting will evaluate ongoing studies on the effective implementation of the Covid protocol for eye care and surgery. T.K Alexander Memorial Oration Award was presented to Padmasree Dr. P. Namperumalsamy. Life time achievement awards were presented to Dr. George Thomas and Dr. M. S Venkitachalam. KSOS Incoming President Dr. Babu Krishna Kumar presided over the function. President Dr. Meena Chakrabarti, General Secretary Dr. G. Mahesh, organizing committee chairman Dr. Saju Joseph, Chief organizing Secretary Dr. Thomas Cherian spoke on the occasion.
