District Collector Inaugurated 10th Anniversary Celebrations of Oberon Mall

The 10th anniversary celebrations of Oberon Mall, the first of its kind in Kerala, have been inaugurated by district collector Muhammad Y Safeerulla. Thus a five month long shopping festival and celebrations got started. Collector also launched the 10th anniversary logo and the theme song dedicated by the mall to the people of Kochi. He said that, Oberon was able to introduce a mall culture to Kerala and have played an important role in upgrading Kochi to one of the fastest growing cities in India.
“The customers have given immense support to the mall and we are delighted that the first mall in Kerala got well accepted and we are able to celebrate the occasion”, said M.A Muhammad, Oberon group chairman.
As part of the shopping festival, those customers selected through weekly and monthly drawings will get LED TVs, smart phones, watches and many more gifts. The mega prize will be Jeep Compass car and Bajaj NS 200 bikes. There will be assured gifts for those customers doing purchase above 3000 from 8th to 15th of April.
“As part of the corporate social responsibility, it has been decided to honour 10 personalities each from 5 different sectors; women, education, health care, public transport employs and students.”, said M.M Sufair, managing director of the mall. M.A. Husain, executive director of Oberon group, Joji John, centre manager, M.V Muraleedharan, Valsala Kumari, municipal counselors and Rintu Antony, marketing manager, were there at the ceremony.
