Cochin University of Science and Technology celebrated the 73 rd Independence Day of the nation with high spirits. Vice Chancellor Dr K.N Madhusoodanan hoisted the national flag at a sprightly function in front of the CUSAT administrative office.
Dr Madhusoodanan exhorted the University community to work hard without any rest to spread achievements of our country in the field of science and technology, without any discrimination. He stressed the need of unbiased distribution of information regarding science and technology. Registrar Dr.K. Ajitha, Finance Officer Sudheer M.S, Controller of Examinations Dr. Sunil K Narayanankutty, Security officer K.A Muhammed Iqbal, Department Heads, Faculty members, students and staff were present at the function. Band by the students of Marine Engineering added fervor to the function.
