Cusat Felicitated Civil Service Achievers

KOCHI:
Cusat honoured four former students who emerged victorious in the recently held Civil Services Examination. Abijith R Shankar (B. Tech 2011-15 Batch) Rank 181, Ihjas Aslam (2006-10) Rank 536, Muhammed Shabeer K (2008-12) Rank 602, Afsal
Hameed (2003-07) Rank 800 were honoured at a function held at the Senate Hall, and were presented with mementos by Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha.
In their reply speech the civil service winners said that, the study period at Cusat has greatly inspired them to aim and strive for civil service. In the recent history, besides IES, altogether nine former students of School of Engineering became successful in the Civil service examination. School of Engineering Principal Dr. MRR Panicker, Controller of Examinations Dr. Sunil K Naryanankutty, Teachers Dr. Mridula S, Dr. Biju. N, Dr. P. G. Latha, Dr. Sudheep Elayidom M spoke at the function. PTA Vice President M.P. Varghese also participated in the function.
