KOCHI:
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the support of Central Excise and Customs Board will organize Goods and Services Tax (GST) Clinic at CII office, Kochi on 19 April 2018 which will be a recurring event every month.
This clinic will be ideal for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises and vendors of large companies. Industries will get the opportunity to pose specific queries and interact with the senior GST officials on one to one basis to resolve the issues. Each participating industry will also have an opportunity to share their experience, feedback and suggestions and device a progressive way forward.
The CII GST Clinic at Kochi was launched by Pullela Nageswara Rao, Chief Commissioner, Central Taxes – Central Exciseand Customs & Service Tax on 28 March 2018 and Rao has expressed his department’s full support to this initiative and further mentioned that the Central GST will extend all the support to any individual or organization in smooth implementation of GST.
