Cochin Shipyard Limited Hosted Vigilance Study Circle Kerala

Cochin Shipyard Ltd hosted 5 th Anniversary Celebrations of VSC Kerala on 23rd March 2018. Vigilance Study Circle Kerala is a forum of Vigilance officers working in Public sector undertakings, Banks, Insurance companies etc in Kerala.
The meeting was inaugurated by K V Chowdary, Central Vigilance Commissioner lighting a traditional lamp. He stressed the importance of Preventive Vigilance, and elaborated on the finer details of Integrity and ethics involved in the functioning of every pubic servant. The Guest of honor of the meeting was Alexander Jacob, DGP of Kerala (Retd).
He enthralled the audience with his key note address on corruption free India, touching upon introduction on Corruption, its genesis and various methods adopted for its eradication right from the ages of Ramayana, Mahabharata and the erstwhile rulers of India.
J Vinayan CCM Southern Railway, Madhu S Nair, Chairman and Managing Director, Cochin Shipyard, Raveendran, Chairman , Cochin Port Trust and Deepak Chaturvedi President of VSC- K and CVO, CSL addressed the gathering and offered felicitations. A D Balasubramaniam, Vigilance officer CSL and Jt. Secretary welcomed the gathering.
Narayanan DGM (V) BPCL and General Secretary presented the report . T R Shaji, CVO FACT and Working President VSC- K proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting was attended by about 100 members of the Study Circle including CVOs, Chief Executives and Vigilance functionaries from southern states.
