Kochi: Actors Jagadish and Salim Kumar did not attend the annual meeting of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) in Kochi. Salim Kumar had informed the Organisation about his absence owing to ill health.
The absence of these two movies stars at the annual general body meeting of AMMA created news since there was a rift among the stars during the Kerala Legislative Assembly Elections due to political reasons.
Actor Jagadish had lost to another actor Ganesh Kumar in the Assembly elections held in Pathanapuram Constituency.
Salim Kumar, a pro- Congress movie actor, had announced his resignation from the Movie organisation in protest against the campaign done by leading actor Mohan Lal in favour of actor Ganesh Kumar.
