ACC ECOPact, the industry’s broadest offering of green concrete for high-performing, safe, and circular construction has been awarded the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label. It recognizes the organization’s revolutionary product that protects the environment while still being profitable. ECOPact is one of the ten LafargeHolcim solutions that have been recognized by the Solar Impulse Foundation.
‘ECOPact’ is a cement that provides higher resistance against corrosion caused by chlorine penetration and other environmental factors. The Eco-friendly product range also gives the choice to decide on concrete primarily based on their desired degree of CO2 discount and sustainability aim.
The range includes three variants- ECOPact PRIME which offers CO2 reduction by 50-70%, ECOPact MAX with a CO2 reduction capability greater than 70%, and ECOPact ZERO, a combination of concrete technology excellence and climate action, which offers the opportunity to eliminate the carbon footprint of concrete and greatly reduce the overall carbon footprint of the structures.

The Solar Impulse Foundation launched its 1,000-solution challenge in 2018 with the aim of protecting the environment while making a profit. The aim was to present these ideas to decision-makers for swift implementation. The Solar Impulse Foundation awards a badge to selected solutions as evidence of their positive environmental and economic effects. Each solution that received an award was strictly assayed by a pool of independent experts.
ECOPact is a global green concrete brand introduced worldwide by the parent organisation, LafargeHolcim.
