Dr. Madhu S. Nair, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, CUSAT bagged Visvesvaraya Best Teacher Award 2021, instituted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Visvesvaraya Award is being given to the national level top 20 teachers in the field of technical Education. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000/- along with a medal and certificate of excellence.
Dharmendra Pradhan, Education Minister, Government of India will present the award on national teachers’ day (September 5) at the AICTE head quarters in New Delhi. Dr. Madhu S. Nair is a recipient of Government of Kerala’s Kairali Research Award of the year 2020 and a research grant of Rs 4.5 crore from Norwegian Research Council’s along with Dr. G. Santhosh Kumar. Dr. Madhu S. Nair took his Ph.D. in 2013 from M.G. joined CUSAT in 2018 as Associate Professor.
