Kerala Blasters is proud to announce the signing of the 190 cm tall Brazilian centre-back Jairo Rodrigues Peixoto Filho for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL). The 26 year old Jairo who hails from Goiania, Brazil kicked off his footballing career as a youth player in 2009 with Goiás Esporte Clube of Brazil and later went on to play for Santos FC, America FC, Botev Vratsa, Trofense, Neftchi Baku, Sepahan, Monte Yamagata and Persela.
‘I am very excited to be a part of Kerala Blasters FC, a club that is known for its fan following since the beginning of the ISL. I aim to train hard with my team-mates during the preseason to help build a strong, competitive and compact defence line to achieve the best results and have a wonderful season ahead. Hence I’m eagerly looking forward to start my sessions with the club and will give my best on the ground’, commented Jairo on the joining.
